The Adventure, Community, Environment (ACE) Expert training program was aimed at tsunami-affected villagers and Kuraburi residents who are motivated to participate in vocational training focusing in the area of community-based tourism. The ACE Experts were a core group of dedicated professionals trained to lay the foundations for successful community-driven tourism in their villages. The aim of the program was to form a well rounded team by providing business skills, English and computer skills, guiding skills, and tools for community development and empowerment.
